A New Chapter in Colombo Design
Interior design marks Ravi’s third career. After gaining experience in corporate roles and home staging, he shifted his focus to full-time design in 2010. The real estate boom in 2013 led him to pivot from staging to a primary focus on design, resulting in the creation of Satu Design in Colombo.
Utilizing his business expertise from previous roles, Ravi developed streamlined processes and built a talented team. This included key figures who have become essential to his firm’s success in Colombo.
Innovative Ventures
Ravi’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond his design firm. After adopting his daughter, he realized his business could flourish with well-established procedures. This led him to develop an interior design course aimed at empowering others in the field.
Launched in November 2019, Ravi’s six-week, five-module online course features personalized coaching. This program is designed to help individuals navigate the design industry and achieve a balanced work-life dynamic.

Ravi Perera offers more than just full-service design. In Colombo, he provides e-design services and a unique “Designer for a Day” option, offering a four-hour consultation to address immediate design challenges. This makes expert advice more accessible and practical.
